EMERGENCY / EXIT LIGHTING SYSTEM
- Visually inspecting all fluorescent lights for darkened signs of aging or damage and recommending for replacement where necessary.
- Simulating a power failure by disconnecting the power supply from MDB and testing the lights for proper functioning. After this test the lights are then reinstated to their normal operating condition.
- Preparing a report on lights that fail to function the discharge test.
- Advising additional requirements (if necessary).
